  I just recently started a business and had them do my taxes. When I went in for my first appointment with the owner he was wearing jeans and a T-shirt and had a large screen TV on with a video game on. I honestly didn't think too much of it, having lived with a bunch of single dudes I actually kind of liked the atmosphere, until now, months later I realize that was just the beginning. In order to meet with the owner I had to set multiple appointments because he kept having to move them and re-schedule even to the point of having me meet with somebody else over the phone. I was incredibly busy last semester taking 17+ engineering credits and planning a wedding so when I make an appointment I expect it to go through. Also when taking to them about filing taxes the employee pretty much said that I was incompetent and would not be able to file my taxes without them and would get audited if I tried. I know I am not the smartest person out there but at least some tact would be nice when talking to a costumer. So in the end they did save me money on my taxes, I suppose, and I have paid them hundreds of dollars to do it. If I had the time I would be filing my own dang taxes next year, but I don't so I will stick with them until I am out of my current job and then I will drop them like a rock and if I need help in the future I will look elsewhere.

  If you go with this company just expect a lot of hidden charges. Initially you are told how much you will be charged and for what but it's not at all accurate. I paid over 50% of my tax refund to these guys. They will charge you a CRAZY amount to make you an S-Corp. YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF FOR $60 ONLINE. Don't even get me started on the quarterly reports. What started as a couple hundred dollars to take care of taxes turned into a nightmare.

  JB Accounting & Tax has been preparing our tax returns for years. They are always pleasant, friendly and helpful. They ask questions to see if we forgot to tell them about anything that might impact our tax return. They email me each year to remind me to set up an appointment. They are very quick but thorough. I trust them with my finances!
